General Commercial conditions of: Villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo
1. In general
www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo supplies, upon the request of the client, a catering service focused on guided tastings of wine and food specialties in venues chosen by the client. The venues where the guided tastings take place are villas, apartments, etc. previously rented for the purpose of tourism or work by the client. www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo, only upon the request of the client, shall contact the owner of the property for exclusive logistical details.
The client assumes all responsibility relative to the progress of the event. The client will take care of any insurance claims for damage to persons and things.
2. Offer and order confirmation
www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo offers the client, via the web site, a choice of 3 different guided tastings and the possibility of a fourth, personalized alternative on request.
After having chosen the program, www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will send a detailed confirmation to the client, communicating the amount of deposit, and the balance to be paid at a later date. The agreement is binding at the moment in which www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo receives the deposit for the service.
The prices shown include VAT. www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo reserves the right to alter the prices based on market influences and on venues outside of the Tuscany region.
3. Modifications
Modifications to the reservation by the client may be done as follows:
The client must notify www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo by e.mail not more than 30 days before the event. If necessary, the supplier will recalculate the price of the service and communicate the updated balance to be paid 30 days prior to the event .
The client may still modify the type of service and/or number of participants up until 10 days before, but in the case the balance would be lower than what communicated at the booking time, www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will reimburse 70 % of the difference less bank fees.
Modifications made less than 10 days before the scheduled event may be accepted:
in the event there is an increase in number of the participants www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo requires written notification at least seven days before the scheduled event.
in the event the client wants to change the date of the scheduled event, a written notification of such change must be communicated to www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo no later than 10 days before the scheduled event. www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will do its best to find a new date. A 70 % reimbursement of the amount paid will be given in the event a new date is not agreed upon.
There will be no reimbursement, if written or verbal notification is received less than 10 days before the planned event, for any monies paid relative to participants not in the position to attend the event
4. Deposit and Balance
A 30 % deposit, of the full amount, must be paid following the guided tasting price list based on the number of participants. The deposit must be paid to the Pay Pal account or a via bank transfer at the moment of the reservation, which normally is effected 45 days before the scheduled event. www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will wait up to 7 days after the reservation to ascertain receipt of the deposit. Upon receipt www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will affirmatively communicate this to the client via e.mail within 7 days of receipt of the same.
If the deposit is not received within 7 days of the date of the reservation, the contract will be invalidated and the reservation will be null.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the event.
In the event that the balance is not received by the agreed time, www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will promptly communicate with the client and, after 7 days should no balance be received, www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will declare itself, free from any obligation to the event. In this case, www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will retain the deposit previously given.
5. Cancellation
In the event of cancellation up and including 30 days prior to the event and not later, the deposit will be reimbursed in full less any bank charges incurred by www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo
In the event of a cancellation up to 10 days before the event, the client will be reimbursed 70 % of the total amount paid thus far, less any bank charges incurred by www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo .
In the event of a cancellation of the reservation 10 days or less prior the event, there will be no reimbursement to the client.
Infrastructure of the venue and area of the event
The client is responsible for the area in which www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo will perform the catering event / guided tasting.
6. Delay or inability to supply
www.villapairingcheesewine.it / Giancarlo Russo assumes no responsibility in the event of lateness arriving to the venue caused by sickness, impediments not caused by the supplier, or Acts of God. In the event of a delay of more than two hours, the client will be informed and will be given the option of an alternative date if possible or a reimbursement of 70 %.
In the event of the impossibility to supply the service on the planned date due to the clear responsibility of the supplier, the paid amount will be reimbursed in full to the client.
7. Receipt, payment
A receipt / invoice will be sent by mail after the deposit is received. Another receipt / invoice will be sent when the balance has been paid.
8. Applicable laws
Italian civil law is applied – Arezzo.
